Tokayev orders comprehensive and objective investigation of air crash near Aktau

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev instructed the government commission and the General Prosecutor's Office, together with other authorized bodies, to ensure a comprehensive and objective investigation of the air crash near Aktau.

Report informs via Kazakh media that he also instructed the government commission to provide all necessary medical and psychological assistance to affected foreign citizens, as well as to pay special attention to the relatives of deceased citizens of the country.

The president emphasized the importance of preventing information provocations and fake news. Additionally, he stated the need to thoroughly examine the state of aviation security across the country.

During the meeting, reports were heard from the chairman of the government commission, Deputy Prime Minister Kanat Bozumbaev, Prosecutor General Berik Assylov, Chairman of the National Security Committee Yermek Sagimbaev, Minister of Internal Affairs Yerzhan Sadenov, and Minister of Health Akmaral Alnazarova.
