A delegation from the Prosecutor’s Office of Tajikistan is currently visiting Azerbaijan to implement the “Cooperation Program for 2023-2024”, signed between the prosecutor general’s offices of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan on December 15, 2022, Report informs, citing Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.
On July 16, First Deputy Prosecutor General of Azerbaijan Elchin Mammadov met with the delegation. He emphasized that cooperation between the prosecutor’s offices of the two countries is at a high level across all fields.
Additionally, he highlighted the successful development of relations between the peoples of Azerbaijan and Tajikistan in political, economic, cultural, and other areas.
Mammadov also mentioned that strategically important projects, driven by political will, will further strengthen ties and benefit both nations.
In particular, the members of the Tajik delegation expressed their gratitude for the warm welcome and sincere reception. They also acknowledged that the visit will contribute to further strengthening bilateral relations.
The Tajik prosecutors had the opportunity to see the new administrative building of the General Prosecutor’s Office and visit the Victory Museum.
