Baku. 14 December. REPORT.AZ/ "Young people use all means to deliver information on the problems facing the Azerbaijani state, especially the heavy consequences of Armenia's armed aggression against Azerbaijan, the occupation of 20 percent of the country's territory and forced relocation of more than 1 million of our compatriots from their homelands. I would like to note that international organizations refer to the need to put an end to the occupation of Azerbaijani territories in all their decisions concerning this conflict," Milli Majlis speaker Ogtay Asadov, said at the Fifth IPU Global Conference of Young Parliamentarians.
He noted that international organizations also urge immediate and unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from Azerbaijan: "These documents unequivocally supported the sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of the borders of the Republic of Azerbaijan. The Non-Aligned Movement, other international organizations such as the OSCE, the PACE, the European Parliament and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation also adopted decisions and resolutions. I am confident that the Armenian-Azerbaijani Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, which hinders the comprehensive development of both our country and the entire South Caucasus region, will be resolved on the basis of the generally recognized norms and principles of international law, in particular the territorial integrity of the principal states."
