Drugs confiscated from two people who violated Azerbaijani border in Fuzuli - PHOTO

Signs of violation of state border were revealed at the border checkpoint in Bala Bahmanli village of the Fuzuli region, and the area was blocked.

Report informs, citing the State Border Service, that as a result of the search and operations at the border, two suspects were detained as they were trying to flee the area on a Toyota Camry car after getting two boxes hidden in the Araz-Zargar village of Fuzuli.

The car driver and the passenger were identified as Valiyev Huseyn Valikhan oglu, born in 1977 in Moscow, and Mamiyev Teymur Adil oglu, born in Hajiqabul in 1976. The boxes they took contained 14.5 kg of drugs (8,200 grams of hemp, 4,200 grams of heroin, 2,100 grams of methamphetamine) and 690 Metadon-40 pills containing psychotropic substances.

Investigation into the fact is underway.
