Rescuers of Azerbaijan ministry save 44 people from rubble in Turkiye

During search and rescue operations in the Turkish province of Kahramanmaras, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations team rescued 44 people from the rubble and recovered the bodies of 164 dead, Report informs, citing the ministry.

The rapid response rescue forces of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations, sent to Turkey following President Ilham Aliyev’s instructions, continue to work on eliminating the consequences of the devastating earthquakes that shook Turkiye.

As a result of the search and rescue operations carried out in Kahramanmaras, the team of the Azerbaijani ministry rescued 44 people, including nine children, from the rubble and recovered the bodies of 164 dead and handed them over to the local authorities.
