Police: Opposition party activists attempted to violate public order in Novkhany

Baku. 31 January. REPORT.AZ/ Today first the Azerbaijan People's Party with three people and Classic Azerbaijan Popular Front Party with 25 people and then Musavat Party with 125 and Azerbaijan Popular Front Party with 135 - a total of 288 people held a commemorative event on occasion of the 135th birthday of Mammad Emin Rasulzadeh in Novkhany village of Abshewon in period from 11.00 until 14.00, Report informs citing the Absheron District Police Office.

It was noted that despite being warned in advance, the leading activists of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party attempted to violate the public order by voicing political slogans that contradicted the essence of the commemorative event. But their attempt was foiled by the police officers.
