One dead in Baku as passenger car collides with electric locomotive

One was killed, another was injured after a passenger car collided with an electric locomotive in Baku.

Report informs, citing the Azerbaijan Railways that on August 2, at about 11:20 pm, a passenger car tried to pass the railway crossing on which the electric locomotive was moving.

Despite the emergency braking by the driver, the collision was inevitable due to the short braking distance. The driver of the car died in an ambulance, the passenger was taken to hospital with injuries of varying severity.
