Ministry: Medical consultation to be held regarding repatriation of two Azerbaijani patients

A medical consultation is planned with doctors regarding the repatriation of two Azerbaijanis receiving treatment at the Mangistau Regional Multi-Profile Hospital following the plane crash near Aktau, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Health said, Report informs.

"A medical consultation with doctors is planned regarding the evacuation of two Azerbaijanis injured in the plane crash and assessment of their readiness for transportation. The patients were admitted with various traumas, mainly multiple injuries - closed craniocerebral trauma, brain concussion, closed chest injuries, and traumatic shock," stated the ministry, according to Kazakh press.

Additionally, it was noted that evacuation matters for three injured persons are being worked out with Kyrgyzstan's health authorities; two of them can be transported, while one is in serious condition.

The ministry reported that the condition of six people injured in the plane crash has stabilized.

"Today, six people are receiving treatment in the hospital. Four of them are in the intensive care unit, and two are in traumatology. No deterioration in their condition has been observed," the ministry stated.
