Mine blast in Turkish-Iranian border injures two Azerbaijan citizens

Baku. 20 June. Two Azerbaijani citizens were wounded in a mine explosion on Turkish-Iranian border.

Report informs referring to Haber7, explosion occurred in the foothills of the Little Agri Mountain near the Aralik region of Igdir province.

35-year-old Azerbaijani citizen Hazi Aslanov and 38-year-old Ruslan Gasimov were injured as a result of blast occurred during cleaning from mines.

Razi Aslanov's hands and eyes injured, Ruslan Abishov injured in various parts of his legs and body. The wounded were taken to the Igdir State Hospital.

According to report, Turkey, Azerbaijan and Mozambique experts are engaged in mine clearance.

The incident is being investigated.
