Search and rescue operations for the missing foreigner are underway, the Azerbaijani Emergency Situations Ministry told Report.
The ministry noted that the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about the disappearance of Manikanth Kondaveeti, an Indian citizen, born in 1993, in the Zagatala district on May 13. Search and rescue operations were organized by the Ministry of Emergency Situations and other relevant government agencies.
Search and rescue operations are underway on the route where the Indian citizen went missing (in mountainous and forested areas with difficult terrain) with the involvement of rescue forces of the North-West Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as well as employees of the Interior Ministry and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
