Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov reported to President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev about the government commission's investigation into the causes of the AZAL airline plane citing the government's press service.
"At the scene, measures have been taken to provide full support to the victims. Emergency forces have been mobilized, with over 430 personnel and about 80 units of equipment deployed. 29 people have been hospitalized. Victims are receiving necessary medical, psychological, and other assistance. Emergency rescue operations are continuing," the information states.
It is also noted that necessary assistance is being provided to foreign citizens and families of deceased passengers in cooperation with the government of Azerbaijan.
"President Tokayev instructed to keep special control over work with affected citizens and provide necessary assistance to the governments of neighboring countries," the message states.
