Karabakh residents of Armenian origin move freely through border checkpoint established by the units of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan on the Lachin-Khankandi road.

As can be seen from the video presented by Report, documents of persons of Armenian origin living in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan are checked at the border checkpoint, after which their unhindered movement is ensured.

At 12:00 on April 23, the units of the State Border Service of Azerbaijan set up a border checkpoint in the sovereign territories of Azerbaijan, on the border with Armenia, at the beginning of the Lachin-Khankandi road as adequate response to the unilateral establishment of a border pass by Armenia at the entrance to the Lachin-Khankandi road on the border with Azerbaijan on April 22 and to prevent the illegal transfer of manpower, ammunition, landmines, as well as other military equipment from Armenia to the Armenian armed formations on the territory of Azerbaijan that runs contrary to the Tripartite Statement of November 10, 2020.
