Israeli ambassador offers condolences to victims of explosion in Baku

Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan George Deek has offered condolences to the victims of the explosion that occurred in a Baku nightclub in the early hours of April 3, Report informs.

“I am deeply saddened by the tragic explosion in Baku last night. I convey the sincere condolences of the people of Israel to the families of the victims, and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured,” the Israeli envoy tweeted.

An explosion occurred today at around 03:00 (GMT +4) in a nightclub in the Sabail district of Baku.

An employee of a nightclub, Maya Akhundova, born in 1979, died in the explosion. Thirty-seven people were injured, four of them in critical condition. Fourteen cars, one apartment and two non-residential facilities were also damaged.
