Head of Regional Executive Power beaten by citizens

Baku. 11 December.REPORT.AZ/ The incident occurred between the police and citizens in Ganja. Report informs referring to the official website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 50-60 citizens tried to close Ganja-Goygol highway as a protest against the demolition of illegal structures by the employees of Nizami District Executive Power in "Avtozavod" settlement in Ganja on December 10, at 11:30 a.m. While preventing the attempt, 5 employees of Ganja City Main Police Office and the Head of Regional Executive Power and his Deputy were injured, as well as, glass of two official cars of City Main Police Office were broken. The injured were taken to Ganja city Emergency Hospital. Two of them are in satisfactory condition and the others were discharged after first aid. The Criminal Case under the Article 315 (resistance or use of force against a government representative) of Criminal code was launched.
