Details of mine explosion in Azerbaijan’s Tartar revealed

Some details of a mine explosion that caused casualties in the territory of the Talish village liberated from the occupation in Azerbaijan’s Tartar district have become known.

According to Report’s Karabakh bureau, the territory where the incident took place used to be located on the contact line.

The road along which RPS Energy Ltd. employees were moving was covered with thick grass. An anti-tank mine was placed in the area where the incident took place. The vehicle in motion touched one of the mines buried in a checkerboard pattern. According to the preliminary version, the vehicle was blown up by a mine model TM62-PM.

The explosion of an anti-tank mine in the village of Tapgaragoyunlu of Azerbaijan’s Tartar district, on April 28 killed three people, Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) reported earlier.

According to the agency, employees of RPS Energy Ltd. company Yusifov Nadir Panah, Gozalov Sakhavat Ismayil and Sadiyev Farid Mehman were killed in the blast.
