Border guards uncover over 8 kg of drugs in Fuzuli

Employees of the State Border Service (SBS) have found more than 8 kg of drugs in Fuzuli, Report informs, citing the press center of the State Border Service.

On April 18, at about 12:00, a white bundle was found in the bushes during the inspection of the territory at the service area of the frontier post of the Horadiz border detachment of the State Border Service in the vicinity of the village of Boyuk Bahmanli.

The bundle contained 8.2 kg of narcotic drugs (6.5 kg of marijuana, 1 kg of heroin) and 780 tablets of the psychotropic substance methadone-40.

The necessary operational and investigative measures are being taken in the case.
