“On the section of the Muganli-Ismayilli road passing through the territory of the Basgal settlement, measures are being taken to eliminate the consequences caused by snow and ensure the normal movement of vehicles,” Police Lt-Col Mubariz Agayev of the Main Department of the State Traffic Police (MDSTP) told Report.
He noted that at present, employees of the traffic police regiment, directly subordinate to the State Department of Traffic Safety, together with road workers, are clearing snow and ice from the roads in Basgal village.
“The necessary measures are being taken to ensure traffic safety and prevent traffic accidents. Currently, the roads are under control, the movement of vehicles continues.”
Last week, due to snowfall, an avalanche occurred on the section of the Muganli-Ismayilli road passing through the territory of the Basgal village. As a result, the movement of vehicles was completely paralyzed.
