4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Georgia-Azerbaijan borderlands

A significant earthquake with a magnitude of 4.8 has struck the border region between Georgia and Azerbaijan.

The Republican Center of Seismological Service of ANAS (Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences) told Report that the earthquake's epicenter was located approximately 61 kilometers southwest of the Zagatala station. The quake struck at a shallow depth of just 5 kilometers.
