38 people arrested during monitoring of weddings: Elshad Hajiyev

"No restrictions were discussed at today's briefing. All rules were maintained," Police Major Elshad Hajiyev, Chief of the Media and Public Relations Department of the Interior Ministry's Press Service, said at a briefing at the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers on August 20.

According to him, everyone must follow the rules for the education to restart in traditional form:

"We must not complicate the work of the state. Monitoring of wedding, engagement, and birthday ceremonies continues today. Since July 1, 4,865 wedding festivities have been monitored. During this period, 38 people were arrested, and materials about 27 people were sent to court. 46,899 people did not have COVID-19 passports. There were active patients among them," he said.
