Guliyev: Over 400 firms' proposals considered in Single Window dev't

During the development of the Single Window information system, more than 150 business processes from over 30 government agencies and companies were analyzed, forming the basis of the system's requirements, Project manager of the Digital Logistics Platform (DLP) Ehtiram Guliyev stated, Report informs.

Speaking at the presentation of the Single Window system, Guliyev explained that the system was created to organize existing processes in transport and logistics more effectively: "The main goal is to unite all processes related to foreign economic activity on a single digital platform, creating a more flexible, transparent, and efficient management model. Real-time tracking of cargo documents, enhancing regional competitiveness, and optimizing costs are among the system's key objectives."

He noted that international methodologies and standards were applied in the platform's design. In addition, meetings were held with over 400 business entities at different stages to identify real market needs, and their proposals were studied.

The manager emphasized that the Single Window approach is not just a local technical solution: "This model has been successfully implemented in many countries worldwide and has proven effective in trade and logistics. Examples include Singapore, South Korea, the Netherlands, and Estonia."

Guliyev added that international experience shows such systems are developed gradually and over the long term.

According to him, in Azerbaijan, technical work on the Single Window system began in August 2024 and continues today. Based on initial analysis, the main directions for platform development have been defined: "Our mission is to fully digitalize import, export, and transit processes through the Single Window system, ensure their traceability, and improve service quality and operational efficiency."
