US tech giant Apple has overtaken Nvidia to reclaim the title of the world's most valuable company.
According to Report, citing trading data, Apple's shares on the Nasdaq exchange rose by 1.17% to $336.91 per share, while Nvidia's shares fell by 4.99% to $196.51.
As a result, Apple's market capitalization reached $4.95 trillion, compared to Nvidia's $4.76 trillion.
The world's five largest companies by market capitalization also include Alphabet ($4 trillion), Microsoft ($2.89 trillion), and Amazon ($2.49 trillion).
On July 17, Apple briefly rose to first place by market capitalization but held the lead for less than a day. According to Bloomberg, that surge was linked to capital outflows from the technology sector and a decline in Nvidia's share value.
