Azercosmos has signed a cooperation agreement with the US UltiSat company, Report informs, citing Azercosmos.
According to the agreement, UltiSat will provide internet satellite internet services in the Middle East and European regions using the resources of Azerspace-1.
The abovementioned company is one of the companies providing satellite services in remote places with poor communication.
'We are pleased with the cooperation with UltiSat. We believe that this cooperation will serve meeting the high demand for satellite internet during the global coronavirus outbreak,' Mark Guthrie, Chief Commercial Director at Azercosmos, said.

"Azercosmos" is the only satellite operator in the Caucasus established on May 3, 2010, and fully owned by the government of Azerbaijan Republic. Having launched the Azerspace-1, the first-ever satellite of Azerbaijan, on February 8th 2013, the company provides highly reliable, satellite-based communication services to enterprise and government customers for DTH, voice, video, data and mobility applications. With the advanced design and flexible switching capabilities of the Azerspace-1 telecommunication satellite, millions of viewers are able to get an access to information and communications services worldwide. UltiSat in turn, provides satellite communication to military, governmental, non-governmental and inter-governmental organizations. The company operates in more than 40 countries worldwide.
