The EU supports Azerbaijan in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic and its consequences, head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, Ambassador Peter Michalko said at the closing ceremony of the EU4Azerbaijan photo exhibition in Baku, Report informs.
The ambassador noted that the EU is one of the supporters of the COVAX international platform for equitable access to COVID-19 vaccines.
He added that as part of measures to combat the pandemic with the support of the EU, trainings for medical workers were held in Azerbaijan.
