Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met in New York with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.
Report informs citing the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry that the ministers expressed satisfaction with the development of political relations between the two countries and exchanged views on various issues on the agenda of bilateral cooperation and prospects for further development of relations. The importance of high-level reciprocal visits was emphasized.
The sides noted the importance of continuing successful cooperation between countries within the framework of international organizations.
The ministers also discussed issues of regional security.
