BSEC chairmanship transferred to Azerbaijan

Baku. 27 June. REPORT.AZ /  Chairmanship of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization (BSEC) has been transferred to Azerbaijan. Report informs citing the Armenian press, Armenia has handed the chairmanship of BSEC to Azerbaijan within the framework of the 38th meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation Organization held in Yerevan today.

The ceremony was held in the Armenian Foreign Ministry building in Yerevan.

At the meeting Azerbaijan was represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Mahmud Mammad-Guliyev.

Azerbaijan will take on leadership of BSEC from July to December 2018.

BSEC was established in 1999 and includes 12 States: Azerbaijan, Albania, Armenia, Bulgaria, Greece, Georgia, Moldova, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Turkey and Ukraine.
