Azerbaijani cuisine demonstrated at Mexican national holiday event

The Hypatia Club, cooperating with UNESCO, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United Mexican States, the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel, and the Mexican Chocolate Factory co-organized an event on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of Mexico's independence at the Presidente Intercontinental Hotel in Mexico City.

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Mexico told Report that along with "Chile en nogada," a national dish that symbolizes the independence of Mexico and is included in the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage, the national dish of Azerbaijan "stuffed vine-leaves" made by the executive chef of Chapulin restaurant, who was a special guest at the event, was presented to the guests.

Making a speech at the event, ambassador M. Talibov spoke about the importance of the relations between Azerbaijan and Mexico, the culture, traditions, tourism potential, and cuisine of Azerbaijan.
