Venue for Azerbaijan-Germany match officially changed

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ Venue to stage 2018 World Cup qualifier of Azerbaijan-Germany has been changed.

Report informs citing the AFFA website, the match will be held at the Republican Stadium named after Tofig Bahramov.

The qualifier planned to be held in the Baku Olympic Stadium (STA). However, the venue changed taking into account organizational activities in the STA regarding 2017 Islamic Solidarity Games. The AFFA (Association of Football Federations of Azerbaijan) made a relevant appeal to the UEFA.

Notably, Azerbaijan-Germany match will be held on March 26.
