Start of sporting events is out of question - Operational Headquarters

Currently, the start of the sports competitions is not on the agenda, Spokesperson for the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Minister Ibrahim Mammadov told Report.

In response to the question, whether the teams will return to training or not, he said: “On behalf of the Operational headquarters, I can say that no such issue is on the agenda at present.”

Azerbaijani Premier League has been suspended since March 13. Until the championship is restored, the players need to start training.

Earlier, Azerbaijan extended the nationwide quarantine until May 4.
