According to Report, speaking at the annual meeting of the Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA) of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) held in Baku, Abbasov emphasized the importance of introducing a carbon tax to reduce the impact of climate change.

Abbasov stated, "To minimize the risks of natural disasters, it is crucial to evaluate hazards, consider geographical location and climatic conditions, and create risk maps.
