Bitcoin drops after news about closure of Korean virtual stock exchanges

Baku. 28 December. REPORT.AZ/ Bitcoin began to decline after it was announced that South Korea could close some virtual stock exchanges to prevent speculative transactions. 

Report informs citing the Bloomberg, S. Korea is considered to be the center of global demand and interest in bitcoin.

The prime minister of this country has long ago expressed concern over the impact of bitcoin on young people. After this news, bitcoin dropped by 14% to $ 14,400. The share of Bitcoin in crypto-currency market is 43.8% and its capitalization is $ 241 bln.

Notably, at today's auctions among 10 crypto-currencies only Ripple has risen. Its price up by 5.7%.
