Countries should listen to China's peace initiatives, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said in an interview with China Central Television, Report informs via RBC.
"The world community should listen to China's initiatives aimed at ending conflicts," he said.
According to him, many in the world have high hopes for President Xi Jinping's various initiatives to bring peace.
Beijing’s position on the war in Ukraine was formulated by Foreign Minister Wang Yi at the end of April: “China is not a party to the conflict, but has never stood aside.”
In February 2023, Beijing presented its peace plan for Ukraine, which contains 12 points. In particular, the document implies respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all countries, a rejection of the Cold War mentality, and a ceasefire.
