Baku. 15 October. REPORT.AZ/ Employees of the Department for Biodiversity Conservation and Development of Specially Protected Natural Areas detained persons who attempted unauthorized hunting in the area called "Platina" of Bilasuvar region.
The press service of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources told Report that 3 shotguns were seized from them. During the investigation, poachers were identified as resident of Yevlakh region Fazil Talibov, resident of Barda region Gazanfar Abdullayev and resident of Jabrayil region Sohrab Balakishiyev. An act protocol was drawn up and administrative fine in the amount of 1000 AZN imposed on each of them.
A poacher who was trying to hunt the Falcon Bird, included in Red Book, was detained in the coastal strip of the Caspian Sea in Khachmaz region. Hunting tools and 2 pigeons for hunting Falcon Bird were seized from him. During the investigation, the poacher was identified as Baku resident Yagub Gurbanov.
Gurbanov was fined 1000 AZN.
