Baku. 17 April. REPORT.AZ/ Former US Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Former co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group Matthew Bryza shared his views on Baku Shopping Festival.
Report informs citing the festival's official website, he is pleased with holding of such an event.
"I think tax-free shopping during a festival is a great way to introduce tourists to Baku”, said Brayza.
Former ambassador is sure that, Festival have a great importance in attracting tourists to Azerbaijan: “The largest number will likely come from countries from which tourists have already been coming to Azerbaijan, like Iran and certain Arab countries, and who are looking for something different than Dubai.
But, over time, people from other countries will learn of the Baku Shopping Festival and will be intrigued.”
