Georgia triples spending on copper imports from Azerbaijan

In January-April this year, Georgia imported copper and copper products worth 510,000 from Azerbaijan, Report informs referring to the National Statistics Office of Georgia.

This is three times higher than the figure for the same period last year.

Thus, Azerbaijan ranks third among countries supplying copper and copper products to Georgia.

During the reporting period, Georgia purchased $11.5 million worth of copper and copper products from foreign countries, which is 2% less than a year ago.

In the first four months of this year, Georgia imported products worth $7.78 million from Uzbekistan, $980,000 from Türkiye, $434,000 from China, and $391,000 from Armenia.
