Working group may be created within Turkic Investment Fund

It is proposed to create a working group within the Turkic Investment Fund that was established on March 16, 2023, with the participation of member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), Deputy Minister of Agriculture of Kazakhstan Abulkhair Tamabek said at the II Forum of Agribusiness of Turkic States in Baku, Report informs.

Tamabek noted that this working group can unite government agencies, businessmen and investors in the field of agriculture: "We must use the potential of the organization. After the meetings held today in Baku, new interstate ties will be established and new projects will be implemented."

On May 30 this year, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev approved the agreement "On the establishment of the Turkic Investment Fund," signed on March 16, 2023, in Ankara.

The authorized capital of the Turkic Investment Fund is $500 million.
