Turkiye, Russia working on list of countries for export of grain and fertilizers

Ankara and Moscow are working on the list of countries in need of Russian grain and fertilizers, with the UN to coordinate the efforts, a source familiar with the situation said, Report informs, citing Russian media.

"This issue was discussed during the recent telephone talks between the presidents of the two countries. The respective structures are engaged in specifying the lists and routes under the coordination of both Turkiye and UN. Efforts are also aimed at overcoming obstacles for export of Russian grain and fertilizers," the source said, noting that countries of the African continents and those in need will be the main destination points for the Russian agricultural products.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said yesterday that the agreement to resume the operation of the 'grain corridor' was achieved following his talks with Russian President Vladimir Putin and ministers of defense of Turkiye and Russia.
