State Seed Fund to more than triple seed imports

The State Seed Fund under the Ministry of Agriculture plans to increase the import of seeds to the country more than three times to 1,200 tons this year, Sarkhan Sarkhanov, chairman of the State Seed Fund, told Report.

He said that the State Seed Fund continued to import elite seeds for seed-growing this year to ensure food security in the country and consider the demand for highly reproductive seeds.
