Azerbaijan and Israel plan to sign a plan for cooperation in agriculture, which will include the main steps in this direction, Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Oded Forer said in an interview with Report.
“We are talking about building the plan in the next few months and then we will have the milestones. Wheat is only one part that we’re going to do in the plan,” he said.
“What we need to do is actually to see what kind of land there is now that is available for agriculture and what are the best agriculture products that you can grow on that land and then to set the plan that we’re going to do together.”
Israel wants to have a competitive market and to lower the prices that citizens of Israel pay for fruits and vegetables, he added.
