"Azerbaijan will meet 98-99% of its demand for meat and milk as a result of agricultural development in the liberated territories," said Firdovsi Fikratzada, director of the Agrarian Research Center of the Agriculture Ministry, as quoted by Report.
"There are a number of products that we always import. These are meat and milk, as well as potatoes and wheat. These products meet only 30-35% of our demand. At present, we annually export 90,000 tons of potatoes, but at the same time, we import 150,000 tons of potatoes. I think we will soon achieve positive results in these areas as well," he opined.
