Minister: New faculty at ADA University to contribute to development of staff potential in Azerbaijan

The new Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences at ADA University will contribute to the development of human resources in the field of agriculture in Azerbaijan, Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov said at an event at ADA University dedicated to World Food Day and the opening of a new faculty at the university, Report informs.

According to the minister, the faculty will train new personnel capable of conducting a scientific and theoretical analysis of the latest approaches, solutions and modern trends in the field of agriculture: "They will also make a feasible contribution to their application in Azerbaijan."

"The faculty will provide both theoretical and practical knowledge through research. It will become an important platform for all stakeholders," the minister said.

The event on the occasion of World Food Day was co-organized by ADA University and Office of the Partnership and Coordination of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Azerbaijan.
