Minister: Baku Harmoniya Climate Initiative to become annual event

The Baku Harmoniya Climate Initiative is set to become an annual event, Azerbaijani Minister of Agriculture, Majnun Mammadov told journalists, Report informs.

According to the minister, the main goal of the initiative is to raise farmers’ awareness about climate change, unify global efforts, and take coordinated, practical steps.

“We are considering making this an annual event,” said Mammadov. “Since climate change has the greatest impact on agriculture, farmers are at the core of this initiative. Whatever actions we take, they will be implemented by farmers in the field.”
