WorldFood Moscow, Russia’s largest autumn food exhibition, has opened at the Crocus Expo IEC in Moscow, also attended by Azerbaijani producers, the Russian bureau of Report informs.
The event is supported by both government agencies and specialized commercial and non-commercial organizations.
The exhibition is attended by 23 Azerbaijani companies, which presented their products at a single national stand. Products such as pomegranate juice, dried fruits, alcoholic beverages, confectionery, and agricultural products were presented.
Ruslan Aliyev, the trade representative of Azerbaijan in Russia, spoke about the increase in the level of export of products from Azerbaijan to Russia: “Today is the fifth, anniversary participation in this exhibition. Today, more than 20 Azerbaijani manufacturers have presented various products here. I can say with confidence that compared to last year, the supply of products from Azerbaijan increased by 18 percent.”
Every year, over 1,000 leading manufacturers and suppliers of food products from foreign countries and more than 40 regions of Russia present a wide range of food products at WorldFood Moscow. The event is attended by representatives of wholesale and retail trade, catering enterprises, the HoReCa sector, as well as food and beverage manufacturers.
As part of the exhibition, visitors will be able not only to get acquainted with the products available at the stands but also to build cooperation with potential partners and get useful information about the food industry.
The exhibition will run until September 24.
