Azerbaijan starts importing fruit trees from 3 more countries

In January-October of this year, Azerbaijan imported 4.97 million pieces of trees, shrubs and bushes (edible crops) worth $12.44 million.

According to the calculations by Report based on the data of the State Statistical Committee, this is 21% more than the indicator of the same period of 2022 in value terms, and 1.6% more in quantitative terms.

During the reporting period, Azerbaijan imported 3.5 million pieces (+26%) of the product worth $7.77 million (+24%) from Türkiye, 370,000 pieces (+36%) worth $1.7 million (+51%) from Italy, 460,000 pieces (-10%) worth $760,000 (-4%) from Greece, 93,700 pieces (-65%) worth $639,500 (+2.2 times) from the Netherlands, and 100,800 pieces (-30%) worth $503,300 (-40%) from France.
