Azerbaijan and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) have signed a Declaration of Intent to strengthen cooperation within the Baku Harmonious Climate Initiative for Farmers, which is part of the Sustainable Transformation for Food and Agriculture (FAST) initiative.
Report informs, citing the Ministry of Agriculture, that the document was signed during the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (COP29) during a meeting between Minister of Agriculture Majnun Mammadov and a delegation led by FAO Director-General Qu Dongyu. The meeting, held at the Ministry of Agriculture pavilion, emphasized the importance of projects implemented under joint cooperation with FAO and discussed prospects for cooperation.
