Azerbaijan sees 10-fold increase in fertilizer export revenues

From January through June 2022, Azerbaijan imported fertilizers for $31.724 million, 11.5% more than the same period last year, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
During the same period, Azerbaijan earned $99.22 million from fertilizer exports, 9.9 times more than a year ago.
Meanwhile, the cost of fertilizer imports accounted for 0.5% of the total imports of Azerbaijan, and the country’s profit from the fertilizer export made 0.54% of the total exports.
