Azerbaijan’s tomato imports to Qatar soar

In January-June of 2024, Azerbaijan exported 114,246 tons of tomatoes worth $136.95 million, 6% more in quantity and 13.4% in value year-on-year, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
During the reporting period, Azerbaijan sold 112,704 tons (+6.5%) of tomatoes worth $133.82 million (+14.5%) to Russia, 1,101 tons (+15.4%) worth $2.48 million (+11%) to Belarus, 252 tons (-71%) worth $433,000 (-66%) to Poland, 76 tons (+152 times) worth $68,400 (+54 times) to Qatar, 57 tons (no supply a year ago) worth $54,760.
