Azerbaijan's expenditure on fertilizer import up by more than 9%

In January-August of this year, Azerbaijan imported fertilizers worth $49.704 million (+9.4%) from foreign countries, Report informs, citing the State Customs Committee.
The value of Azerbaijan's fertilizer export for 8 months was $42.427 million, which is 3.4 times less than a year ago.
During the reporting period, import costs for fertilizer accounted for 0.45% of Azerbaijan's total import costs, and export revenues accounted for 0.17% of the country's total export earnings.
