Azerbaijan's agrarian sector grows by over 3%

Azerbaijan's agricultural production amounted to over 7.262 billion manats ($4.27 billion) in January-July 2023, 3.3% higher than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, the crops increased by 3.2% to 3.85 billion manats ($2.27 billion), and the prices of animal products went up by 3.4% to 3.41 billion manats ($2 billion).
Compared to 2022, meat production in live weight increased by 3.1% to 327,000 tons in 2023, milk production - by 1.7% to 1,305 tons, and egg production - by 12% to 1,305,000 units, and wool production dropped by 2.6% to 14,400 tons.
