Azerbaijan's agrarian sector grows by over 3%

Azerbaijan's agricultural production amounted to over 895.6 million manats ($526.27 million) in January-February 2023, 3.3% higher than a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Over the past year, the crops increased by 1.9% to 46.4 million manats ($27.26 million), and the prices of animal products went up by 3.4% to 849.2 million manats ($499 million).
Compared to 2022, meat production, including chicken, in live weight increased by 2.8% to 90,400 tons in 2023, milk production grew by 1.1% to 322,300 tons, and egg production increased by 16.1% to 355,600 units.
