Azerbaijan resumes tomato exports to Netherlands

Azerbaijan exported 141,419 tons of tomatoes worth $167.61 million.

Report's calculations based on the data from the State Statistics Committee show that this is a 5% increase in terms of value and 3% decline in quantity compared to 2021.

Azerbaijan supplied 137,587 tons (-2%) worth $161.6 million (+2.6% from a year earlier) to Russia, 2,860 tons (+3.1 times) worth $5.1 million (+7 times) to Belarus, 392 tons (+2.8 times) worth $556,000 (+3.6 times) to Poland.

The supplies to Lithuania, Slovenia and Singapore were carried out for the first time in the past 11 years. Azerbaijan resumed export of tomatoes to the Netherlands.
